In addition to world-class artists and pedagogues, we will enjoy a gala banquet and other events marking our anniversary. Sessions will be held in the College of Charleston's brand new Marion and Wayland H. Cato, Jr. Center for the Arts which opened in January of this year. Stay tuned for more announcements. This is one conference you will not want to miss!

Christopher O'Riley, Conference artist

Christopher O'Riley

From his groundbreaking transcriptions of Radiohead to his unforgettable interpretations of classic and new repertoire, pianist Christopher O'Riley redefines the possibilities of classical music. He takes his unique vision to both traditional classical music venues and symphonic settings, as well as to entirely new audiences on the radio, TV, performances halls, universities and even clubs. As host of the most popular classical music radio show on the air today, “From the Top” (nationally distributed on National Public Radio and now TV), Mr. O'Riley works and performs with the next generation of brilliant young musicians.

Mr. O'Riley's concert is a joint presentation of SCMTA and the College of Charleston International Piano Series.
