Grand Opening Reception

Our celebration kicks off with a reception hosted by SCMTA and Charleston MTA. There will be plenty of food and wine and opportunity to renew old acquaintances and make new ones before proceeding to the Christopher O'Riley Concert. The reception will be held in the Hill Exhibition Gallery of the Marion and Wayland H. Cato Jr. Center for the Arts at the College of Charleston. This magnificent new facilty, which opened in January of this year, will be the site of most of our conference sessions.
During the reception, the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art will be open for a private viewing of the current exhibition: Running the Numbers: An American Self-Portrait, Digital Images by Chris Jordan. The Halsey will also be open Friday and Saturday, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.
