• Parking Area for the Competitions: You may park in Walker Field (across from the Alumni Music Center)

• Parking Area for the Conference: You may park in the Athletic Lot near the chapel, with limited handicapped parking directly in front of the chapel. There is also an additional grass overflow lot that is marked on the campus map.

• Parking at Gnann in the Center for Teacher Education (for Friday lunch): open parking in their lot (there is a grass field overflow and street parking), and there will be a golf cart if needed to transport people over. 

• Parking for the Newberry Opera House: Free Street parking and nearby public spaces throughout the historic downtown district. Most downtown spots place you within a 2-to-5-minute walk of the main entrance.

 

Driving directions to Newberry College are as follows:
From Asheville, N.C., Spartanburg, S.C., and points northwest:

• Take I-26 to exit 72 (Highway 121). Turn right and continue straight 3.4 miles until you see the football stadium and college on your left.

 

From Charlotte, N.C., and points northeast:

• OPTION 1--take I-77 to exit 65 (Highway 9). Turn right toward Chester. Take Highway 9 Bypass through Chester, and turn left on Highway 72 toward Carlisle and Whitmire. In Whitmire, take a left onto Highway 121 toward Newberry. After you cross the bridge over I-26, you will travel straight 3.4 miles and see the football stadium and college on your left.

• OPTION 2--take I-77 to I-20 west (toward Augusta) in Columbia. Continue on I-20 until you reach I-26 west (toward Spartanburg). Take I-26 to exit 72 (Highway 121). Turn left and continue straight 3.4 miles until you see the football stadium and college on your left. This is a longer route by about 40 minutes, but easier to navigate as it is all highway mileage.

 

From Atlanta, G.A., and points west:

• Take I-85 north to I-385 south (toward Columbia). I-385 will merge into I-26 east. Turn right off exit 72 (Highway 121) and continue straight 3.4 miles until you see the football stadium and college on your left.

 

From Columbia, S.C., Charleston, S.C., and points southeast:

• Take I-26 west to exit 72 (Highway 121). Turn left and continue straight 3.4 miles until you see the football stadium and college on your left.

 

From Augusta, G.A., and points southwest:

• Take I-20 east to exit 5 (Highway 121). Take Highway 121 north to Newberry, where Highway 121 becomes Boundary Street. Turn left onto Caldwell Street, then right onto Main Street. Make a left onto College Street and you will see the football stadium and college on your right.

 

From Florence, S.C., and points east:

• Take I-20 west to I-26 north (toward Spartanburg). Take exit 72 (Highway 121). Turn left and continue straight 3.4 miles until you see the football stadium and college on your left.​​
